Refund Policy
Effective: October 14, 2026
We want you to feel good about spending a credit. If something went wrong, tell us and we’ll make it right. What you tell us also helps us fix it for the next person.
1. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected], or use Contact Support in the app. Tell us:
- the property address;
- about when you bought;
- what went wrong, or why you’d like your money back.
We read every message and reply within 2 business days. We ask what happened because it’s how we improve PROppeal.
2. Credits you haven’t used
Credits never expire. Unused credits aren’t refundable, but they’re yours to use whenever you’re ready, for any property.
3. If we couldn’t deliver
If we couldn’t finish your analysis or produce your appeal letter, we’ll return your credit or refund your purchase, whichever you prefer. That includes when we couldn’t find your property, couldn’t find enough comparable sales, or something broke on our side.
4. If your analysis is complete
A credit is used when you confirm the property address and we start gathering comparable sales. If you’re unhappy with a finished analysis, contact us within 14 days. If we got something wrong, we’ll fix it or refund you: the wrong property, a wrong fact about your home, or a mistake in your letter.
The answer is part of what you pay for. We gather comparable sales and analyze your case whether or not the numbers support an appeal, so a finding that you don’t have a case isn’t refunded.
5. Billing mistakes
If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged an amount you didn’t agree to, tell us and we’ll refund the extra charge in full.
6. What we don’t refund
- Unused credits. They never expire instead.
- A finding that you don’t have a case. The analysis was done and the answer delivered.
- The board’s decision. The outcome of your appeal is up to your county’s board, not us, so we don’t refund based on whether your value went down.
- An appeal you chose not to file, once the analysis and letter were delivered and correct.
7. Purchases in the iPhone app
Apple takes payment for purchases in our iPhone app, so Apple handles those refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com, under its own rules. We can’t refund Apple’s charge ourselves. Please tell us too. If something went wrong on our side, we’ll return your credit, and we won’t argue against your refund request with Apple.
When Apple refunds a purchase, we take back its credits the same way.
8. How a refund reaches you
Purchases on app.proppeal.com are “Sold through Link”: Sold through Link, LLC, an affiliate of Stripe, takes the payment as the merchant of record. When we refund one, the money goes back to the payment method you used. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Link can also refund a purchase on app.proppeal.com within 60 days under its own refund policy (support.link.com), even where this policy wouldn’t.
When a purchase is refunded, we take back the credits it added, up to the number of unused credits on your account. Your credits are shared between our iPhone app and app.proppeal.com, so this applies wherever you use them.
9. Before you delete your account
Deleting your account removes your credits everywhere — in our iPhone app and on app.proppeal.com — including unused ones, and we can’t restore or refund them. Use them first if you plan to.
10. Please talk to us first
On your bank or card statement, a purchase on app.proppeal.com shows as “LINK.COM*” followed by our name. If you’re thinking of disputing a charge with your bank, contact us first. We can almost always sort it out faster.
